We arrived home from Las Vegas last night about 11:00 PM. It was not easy getting up this morning for my hair appointment which was postponed one hour, but my body felt like it was still 8:00 AM on Vegas time.
The rest of the day I just laid in my lounge chair in the living room, napping, and watching movies.
Then Jim drove down to his brother’s house and picked up our mail. He brought me 2 envelopes which perked me up. I finally received a check for my pictures which were put on Mastercard’s Priceless Picks website. In addition I received my final contract for my teaching job next year since the first contract was written before the legislature had finalized the amount.
I have a daunting task before me–uploading my photos from the Vegas trip. We didn’t have Internet access in our apartment in Vegas. I did walk to the lobby and computer room twice to upload a few photos, but then I decided to spend my time enjoying the vacation and upload when I got back home. So now the fun begins–when I can find the energy to begin.
I know I’m behind on uploading my daily self-portraits. I took them but they are not all uploaded yet.
