So far all the home typist internet jobs seem to be out of this county (USA), why?

I’m from the USA, and I can assure you they aren’t real…unless you are a Medical Transcriptionist, in which case, you are lucky if you can get your first job doing that. A lot of them are legitimate, but they want experience (which, ironically, you can’t get without a job.) Also, many of the jobs are being outsourced to other countries where the labor is much, much cheaper.

If you are a Medical Transcriptionist, run away FAST from any company that demands you must “take their course” or they “will train you in a short period”, or offer you an “internship” (that means you’ll do their work for free.) Worse yet, you have to buy their software or equipment. Medical terminology is difficult to learn and it’s still hard work for even those who have extensive experience. You can get the equipment to start a home transcription business pretty cheaply, but usually it’s not worth it.
