Children need to be child…
Around the world, so many children need to be alone at home because their parents need to work out…

work is not problem, but it turn one, if there is not an adult to care their children… The oldest son need to care his brothers, and sister… So… He cannot goes to school, he cannot enjoy his inface…

One day, I went to visit one of my student at Sítio Joaninha Community. I stopped to talk with these boys. They are so cute. They told me so much about their life… Told me how much is hard and boring to be alone (with out parents). The oldest brother dont know how to care them, but he learns to cook, to clean the house, to give shower of them… Actually, these guys and their old brother were tired to live this life.

No School, because it is so far from Sítio Joaninha – almost 30 minutes walking.
No playground, maybe they dont know what is play…

Sometimes I stop to think… How to change it? Can They do it? Can you do it? Can we do it? Who can to do? Why? How??????

I’m waiting for E at very late in the evening. It was once an odd idea to travel with someone through life but now it seems natural and beautiful. Thus ends my work week at my parents’ home. Now it’s play and fun!
