Day 78

Day 78
I spent the day working at home waiting for the washing machine service man. He arrived quite early and fixed the machine in half-an-hour. A door closing mechanism, new circuit board and 0 later and we can wash our clothes again. Hurrah!
I spent a long time creating the student lists for next week’s block delivery. It always takes ages and is a little harder thanks to Blackboard. And of course throughout the day and night I’m peppered with requests from students to change this or that, irritating people that they are.
At least I got to pick up Celyn from school and walk home with him early even though I couldn’t spend much time with him with the work that needed doing.
ahhhh… sunday….

i like my sundays. this was a week ago, i am a long behind in my posting, editing, everything….
that sunday was quite restful, relaxing with a book, a gentle walk into town, flickr, photos, uhhh…. not much else.
this sunday was very different. a 2 hour walk across the valley, cooking lunch for the team at the base (potato and leek soup), planting tomato plants in our garden, shopping for vegetables at the market, a quick beer in town, cooking vegetarian enchiladas for dinner, from scratch. i also found time to watch ‘into the wild’ and ‘australia’ over the weekend.
