Question by MichiganBBW: Denied Employment because of my credit?
I applied for work through a service online to babysit.I would have been my own independent contactor but the service would place me with clients.Much like working for a home health care agency.I just got an email stating that i have been denied employment because along with the background check,which is standard, they also did a credit history check.My question is..Is this legal?
