Question by Bianca: Working mothers vs. Stay at home mothers?
This has been a debate for decades, but I still want your opinion. Stay at home moms or working moms? I personally am on the fence. I believe that if you choose to stay home with your child, be the one to kiss their “boo boos,” pick them up at the bus stop, help them with their home work, and pack their lunches, then more power to you. I also believe that if you want to make your daughters aware that their are more opportunities than ever for woman in the work force, that is gives you positive self-image, and that it’s important to experience life, than that’s okay too. As Donatella Versace says, “I spend quality time with my children. Not Quantity.” I personally am a working mother of two beautiful daughters, Mia age five and Sofia age eight, because I want to show them what a woman in control looks like. I take pride in my appearance, I work-out, I eat healthy (salads, not sandwich crusts), and I still manage to help them with homework and tuck them in. I have a house keeper pack their lunches (I write what they should have), do the laundry, and free my schedule so that I can devote my free time to them. My best friend since middle school however is a stay at home mom. She serves on the PTA, does carpool, packs lunches, chaperones school activities, and does all the house work. I believe that were both great moms and both love our children more than life itself. What is your take on this questionable topic?

I wish I had a mom like you
My mom stinks
I prefer a stay-at home mom if it suits our schedule and budget for the family, so my mom can spend quality time with me but she never does because shes busy all the time……
