£4m bid to rescue renewal projects
Cash towards plans to build 60 homes in Hamer and a scheme to improve access around Kingsway business park could come from the government’s new Regional Growth Fund (RGF). The cash – which would be in the form of a £4.3m loan – is one of 16 bids put forward by the Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnership, a new organisation trying to expand the region’s economy.
